Programming Committee
The Programming Committee's function is to assist the Programming Chairs, as well as the Philanthropy & Panhellenic chairs, in the planning and execution of various NYAA events throughout the year. Time commitment will vary based on how involved you'd like to be.
We are looking for women who are willing to spearhead events and run with them! However, if you don't have time to take on an event in full, we still appreciate any help you are willing to give whether that be your feedback, creative ideas, or helping on a specific smaller task for an event. Communication with the programming committee will primarily be via email, with virtual meetings as needed.

Special Interest Groups
We welcome and encourage members who wish to take the lead on Special Interest groups, which are generally informal groups that have particular interests in common such as Klassic Kappas, Brunch Bunch, Kappas & Kids, Dinner Club, etc. The NYAA will support you by including your events on our calendar and in our monthly newsletter. As a reminder, any Kappas participating in Special Interest Groups must be dues paying members and in good standing with the Fraternity.
